FennoSteel offers DPF solutions both as a product and as a service. Our production of particle filters is especially focused on small series for OEM and spare part needs. In addition, we clean filters that are in use in equipment of different industries. Our target groups include trucks, forest harvesters, excavators, and crushers, as well as other machinery and equipment in Finland and Sweden.

Small series, storage and constancy of size
In manufacturing, our competitive advantage consists of the ability to produce small series, dimensional accuracy and the ability to keep products our clients need in our own inventory. This enables fast deliveries and lightens the clients own inventory value. We assemble our products ourselves and make sure that the solutions are suitable for their intended use. Our storage also houses remanufactured filters that can be sent to the client with an assembly set.

In DPF cleaning, our clients’ standards and quality requirements urged us to move from water-based cleaning to a combination of high-pressure air and thermal treatment in 600 degrees. DPF cleaning and change solutions readily available
Our yearly cleaning volume is thousands of filters, and we produce our service for clients in Finland and Sweden. FennoSteel also offers remanufactured filters in our inventory, especially for trucks and selected working machinery, reducing the equipment shutdown times.
The manufacturing of particle filters takes place at FennoSteel’s Parkano factory. The only product we buy from a third party is the housing.

Quality cleaning and manufacturing according to your requirements
FennoSteel DPF cleaning is based on a mechanical cleaning process, where the filter goes through a back pressure measuring and the condition of the housing is checked. After this, high-pressure air is blown through the filter and it is then treated in 600 degrees for 12 hours, and then treated again with high-pressure air. This method removes fine ash better than water-based cleaning and returns the functionality of the filter efficiently.
The manufacturing quality is largely determined by the requirements of the client and equipment manufacturer, as well as regulation and environmental and safety requirements. In terms of serviceability, a good rule of thumb for the cleaning needs of working machinery is 5000 hours of use. A preventative cleaning helps reduce fuel consumption and prevent filter damages. We provide a one-year guarantee for our particle filters.
